How to reset your Ackroo installation on Clover:
1. Unlock your Clover device with an administrator pin. This is the PIN assigned to admins in the Clover Employees app. If you do not see the Employees app on the Clover home screen, it is likely that the person who is signed in is not an administrator.
2. Once logged in as an admin, look for the More Tools app and open it.
3. Search for Ackroo
4. Select Ackroo Gift
5. Uninstall/Unlink the app
6. Once completed, you will need to select Connect/Install
7. Once the download is completed, open Ackroo from the Clover Home screen
8. You may be asked to select your Business or Location – select the White Box to see the available options and select the proper location. Note: take extra care to ensure you have assigned the terminal to the correct location, as assigning to the incorrect location will cause that terminals transactions to go under the location it is assigned to.
9. Once you see the congratulations message, select DONE
10. You should now be able to enter cards normally again.
How to update the Ackroo App on Clover:
1. Tap the "Setup" icon on Clover's home screen, then select the three horizontal lines to view setup options:
2. Press the Reload button:
3. Drag the top menu down with your finger (the menu with the date, icons and battery life), then look for one of the options called "App Updater". It will say "Update Available", tap this:
4. The app that is looking to update should be "Ackroo Gift & Loyalty". Simply press the green "Install Now" button to update the update.
