 Adding a Customer

1. 1. In the Customer's section in the iPad App (there are multiple ways to get here and add new customers)
   2. Press New
   3. Fill out the customer's information including name and email.
   4. Most importantly: Add the Ackroo card number to the "LOYALTY" section of the customer profile. If you don't do this then the customer won't be able to earn any rewards.
      
   5. Save the customer profile. At regular intervals (multiple times a day) the Ackroo Servers will read this data and create a customer profile in its system. Before this happens the customer will not be registered with ackroo and will not be able to redeem points, however any purchases they make should still allow them to earn points.

Attaching a Customer to a Receipt to Earn Points

The customer will only be able to earn ackroo points if their profile is attached to the sale. 

1. With a new sale created, attach the customer to the sale from the bottom left corner.
   
   

Redeeming Points on a Sale

1. 1. Tender your sale as normal. When selecting a tender, select Ackroo.
      
   2. This will open a website that contains the Ackroo redeem page
   3. You are presented with multiple options:
      
      Pay with Loyalty Card: Pay some or all of the current bill with Ackroo Loyalty dollars.
      Pay with Gift Card: Pay some or all of the current bill with Ackroo Gift Card dollars.
      Fund Gift Card: Add money to a gift card. First-purchase or reloading.
      Check Balance: Check the balance of your Ackroo Gift or Loyalty Cards.
      Cancel: Cancel this request and return to Lightspeed Resto app.
      
      
   4. Once you make your selection there are fields to enter the customer ackroo card number and the amount they wish to redeem off their bill. The fields are similar for Funding or checking the balance.
   5. Fill out the information and press submit, you will be presented with a confirmation page before anything is processed.
   6. If the payment goes through you will be presented with a receipt screen and will then be taken back to the payment screen. The payment will then be applied to the sale and you can either Finalize the bill or apply another payment as necessary.
