This section groups information used for several controls, specifically the reference for penalty calculations, controls for multiple games reservations and tee sheet color codes, as well as workstation-specific options, scorecard printing options, and other reports.
Grid color choices: Allows the club to choose what color will be displayed on the screen for reservation ballots and tee times. To change the colors, just click on the color you want changed, select the desired color and press F9 or click on Apply <F9>. It's possible to go back to the default colors by clicking on the "Default" button followed by "Apply <F9>".
Reservation and Tee Time controls for same day multiple games: To control same day multiple games and reservations. Check the box if you wish to allow multiple games per day. In the example above, a member can be entered more than once per day in a reservation ballot via the Internet services. For exception cases (members who need to be in 2 ballots in one day) when this box is unchecked, it's possible to accept a second ballot in GGGolf.
Prefix for generating groups: Indicates the prefix (default GR) used when generating group codes for multiple reservations (ex. leagues).
Default language: To set the default language for the entire system. Each user can modify the language in which they would like to work by selecting either French or English in the "Language" tab in the main menu. It's also possible to set the default language for each user in User Maintenance.
Score card printing options with this workstation: This box is only visible when the score card printing function, offered as an option, is installed. Indicates the workstation's specific parameters to control the printing of score cards, including selecting the workstation's printer and margin adjustments.
Print Score Cards with this workstation: Check the box to activate and allow the printing of score cards with this workstation.
Printer: Select the printer you would like to print score cards with.
Left/Top margin: To set the printing margins. Units in millimeters.
Teetimes default printer: To set the default printer.
Member Configuration
Member Id Mask: Indicates what mask will be used for member maintenance when creating new member Ids. For example, in the screen shot above, the new member Ids will be created with optional characters (cccccc). GGGolf sets this up when the system is installed.
Workstation options
Workstation type: To define the type of workstation is being configured. A dropdown menu displays the selection: Administration, GGGolf Server, Member PC, Proshop, Resto (Touch screen), Starter. The Proshop and Resto types must be configured to interface with Acomba.
Delay in minutes to display member tee times: For the workstation's tee sheet to refresh automatically, displayed for members on a specific screen. When the number entered is not zero, the screen will automatically refresh every 2-3 minutes and will move tee times up throughout the day to show the current tee time in the center of the screen. The number of minutes entered in the box indicates how much to move the tee sheet up in reference to the current time.
Manage weather in tee times: When checked, the starter will receive two messages during the day (one at 8 am and the other at 1 pm) to force him/her to enter the weather in the tee sheet. These hours can be changed in Options Maintenance, in the Options tab under Tee Times / Tournaments > Tee sheet control > Time to enter weather in the morning/afternoon.
Force NumLock: Force NumLock on the workstation's keyboard. ATTENTION: do not check this box if the keyboard has no keypad (laptops usually don't have them).
Print reports only in black with this workstation: To only print reports in black and white from this workstation.
Parcours par défaut: To define the default course for this workstation when pulling up the tee sheet.
POS configuration: To indicate which type of Point of Sale configuration is to be used with this workstation.
