These options are default values used when printing scores cards that can be overridden.
Differential calc. method for hnd (0=reg, 1=diff, 2=low): Indicates the default method to calculate the stroke hole allocation (dots) for matches.
0=reg: This is the regular way to perform the stroke hole allocation calculation. Handicaps for holes (dots) are applied on the full handicaps. For example, if a player has a handicap of 12, they will have dots on handicap holes 1 through 12.
1=diff: The stroke hole allocations (Dots) are applied on the differential between twosomes (players 1-2 vers players 3-4) only to the player having the highest handicap.
2-low: The stroke hole allocations (Dots) are applied in reference to the player having the lowest handicap among the players in the foursome. See the following example:
Player Hnd Final Stroke Allocation
Player 1 - 15 7
Player 2 - 10 2
Player 3 - 8 (lowest) 0
Player 4 - 22 14
Use different hdcp by hole (dots) for Match Plays: Indicates whether the club has different handicaps by hole for games by stroke and games by hole. These handicaps by hole need to be on the scorecard. Contact GGGolf to set up your course ratings for match play (by hole) and medal play (by stroke). Please note that very few clubs elect to use this feature because it often confuses members.
Apply rating difference rule on handicaps: Indicates whether the rating difference rule will be applied by default when printing scorecards.
Last/First name print type: Indicates the default player name format to use when printing scorecards:
0 - Name, First Name (Tremblay, Pierre)
1 - First name (Pierre)
2 - First name Initial (Pierre T.)
3 - Name (Tremblay)
4 - Initial Name (P. Tremblay)
5 - First name Name (Pierre Tremblay)
Max. length players' names: Indicates the maximum length of players' names on the printed scorecard.
Print handicap dots: Indicates if you would like handicap dots to be printed by default.
Print * * with tee time: Indicates if you would like to surround the tee time with "*" on the scorecard, ex. * 12h08 *
Print card with no preview: Indicates whether you would like to see a preview before you print the scorecards.
Print end time for each hole: Indicates whether the end time for each hole is calculated/printed. In course maintenance, the number of minutes allowed for each hole can be set between 1 and 18. The scorecard needs to have been previously set up to support this function with an extra tee listed on the card for pace of play.
